I heard a lady at a store when speaking of the weather, say “It’s almost as hot as the place I’m going to,” with a pleasant tone of voice.
I was way down the aisle. Another time, I heard a woman say, very seriously, “I guess I’m going to hell.”
Both times I didn’t say anything. I ponder and pray.
When our church went to a Halloween event, one pastor felt as though God wanted the Gospel preached. There were witches present, playing a hard rock ‘n roll song on a sound system next to the Christian music and the preacher. The hard rock song detailed extremely vile words describing what should be done to pastors. The person at their site wore a jacket with Satanic symbols.
The Christian words spoken, “God never made hell for people, but some choose hell.”
Hell was made for the rebellious, evil angels who were created to dwell in heaven. The Bible says iniquity was found in them. The lead devil, Lucifer wanted to be God. The Heavenly Father cast him out of heaven with one-third of his followers. Holy God made hell for the created beings, who hated the Supreme Being and all humans since we were all made in God’s image.
Jesus came to earth to take our sins upon Himself, the perfect sacrifice through His death and resurrection to atone for our sins. Jesus paid the debt to satisfy the Father’s wrath, like a fine paid at an earthly court removes the guilty charge against us.
Holy God cannot tolerate sin. He sees the hurt, the terror, the injustice, the shame, the abandonment, the addictions that wound or kill their victims, the gossip, the murders, using people, the kidnappings, robberies, sexual sins, the fear, the torment, the betrayal, the selfishness, poverty, and the disease that sin causes for all of mankind.
Jesus said in (John 10:10, NASB), “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly.”
He means abundant life on earth and in heaven. Not extremely rich, but cared for, if you choose Jesus as LORD and Savior. He does help unsaved people. Because He loves His created folks.
So, during the Halloween program, I’m handing out candy and telling the children how awesome their costumes are. The preaching and singing are going on behind me. A person wearing occult clothing comes over and squats down to see me, eye to eye. I look at the person; I’m filled with peace. They walk away. I felt like it was a slither, more than a walk. I still have peace, until I close my eyes to sleep that night.
Under my eyelids, I see all red and over the background color, there’s hairy, black spider legs. I open my eyes, I pray. Re-close and there’s the same disturbing image. I pray and quote the paraphrased Scripture out loud, “For God has not given me the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind,” (2 Timothy 1:7, KJV).
My husband is sleeping and I’m tired, and I need him to pray for me. He gets up, I tell him what’s going on. He lays hands on me and says, “God, do whatever it takes.”
Bam! The red is gone, the black hairy legs are gone! Thank You, Jesus! I sleep soundly.
The next night, a muted variety of the same image. I say, “Oh no, God delivered me from that attack of the enemy!”
I asked God to protect me from the fiery dart of the enemy, the picture fades. I sleep peacefully.
Everybody goes through hard times of some sort. It’s part of living in a fallen world-we’re out of Eden. But God gives many promises in His Word. The best of which, is the third chapter of the Gospel of John in the New Testament. If you should read it and not understand it, ask God to show you the truth of it. In (2 Peter 3:8, NASB), it says, “The LORD is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.”
God puts up with evil people, giving them chance after chance to repent, because He wants no one to go to hell, not even one!
There’s wailing and gnashing of teeth in hell, Jesus said. No parties with friends. Nothing good there. Yet, God lets us choose to be with Him in heaven or not.
So, when I hear people talking of hell, but they don’t seem to want to hear from me, I pray God will send someone they’ll listen to. Or, if I’m supposed to speak, I pray God will help me to recognize His urging and give me the right words to speak and a listening ear to their responses.
I see so many things happening that line up with end time prophecies, that’s why I’m sharing this. End times are scary times.
May God bless you and keep you in the palm of His loving hand.
