Blogging On A Beautiful Day

I keep writing. Some are blogs, some just thoughts or observations. Yet, I haven’t sent them out. Since I am away from my computer, and my oldest son is an IT guy, I asked him if I could use his laptop to send out a piece. He helped me save the writing on Google docs. (My husband and I were visiting family in FL when I wrote this).

It is a beautiful day outside today. I’m getting some sun, plus peace and quiet on a screened in patio, called a lanai. I’m watching a tiny animal that likes to eat bugs and stays away from me, so I’m content. A small duck paddles so hard, its head bobbles and its back wobbles. I’m amazed how quickly it moves from one end of the water to the other side.

Earlier today, I kept singing, “Be kind to our web-footed friends, A duck may be somebody’s mother.”

Is that because I saw a duck a couple of days ago? 😊

I can’t help but think how amazing God is, designing a multitude of animals with such detail and unique characteristics. This morning, I read (Psalm 74:16-17, NASB): “Yours is the day, Yours also is the night; You have prepared the light and the sun, You have established all the boundaries of the earth; You have created summer and winter.”

The Bible confirms itself from many writers inspired by God, written over thousands of years: (II Timothy 3:16-17, NASB). Genesis, chapters one and two, tells of God being the Creator of the light, including stars, sun; moon, and He made the seasons. He spoke everything into being, until designing mankind. God told the waves to stop at the seashore in (Proverbs 8:29, NASB), and in (Job 38:8-11, NASB).

God fashioned Adam, the first man from the dust of the ground and breathed life into him. He formed Eve from one of Adam’s ribs and instituted the first social unit: a family. He created every living animal.

Back to today. There’s another small duck in the water.

What might you like to share with others? Do you write on social media or call people to keep in touch?

God likes us to talk to Him. I heard a lady preacher from KY. She said, “God likes hard questions!”

Her church had a tragedy, and God listened to their prayers and kept the church from splitting, as people told them it would. He turned things around for good, she said.

May God bless you and keep you from the lies of the enemy of our souls: (John 10:10)!
