This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!, based on (Psalm 118:24, NKJV).
It is raining again today. We have more than enough water in our Upstate New York area. Other years, we found ourselves in drought conditions, but that was unusual. The Holy Bible says in (Psa 24:1, NKJV) A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.
Everything belongs to God the Creator, and He made every unique person. He tells us mankind is made in His image and likeness in the book of Genesis. “There are no races,” Jack Hibbs said in a recent video on YouTube.
Our skin color adapted depending on how close a person lived to the equator or how far away from the blazing sun our ancestors dwelt. We have pigmentation in our skin that changed to protect us from the elements.
We’re all the same! The only difference is our culture. Why I’m writing this today, I don’t know. But Jesus Christ, God the Eternal Son, came to earth as a sacrificial Lamb to take on the sins of the world. He accepted the wrath of God to wash us clean of sin so we can go to heaven. Jesus said to repent of sin, believe in Him because the kingdom of God is at hand, and then we will go to heaven when we die.
“If you love Me, keep My commandments,” Jesus said in (John 14:15, NKJV).
The Gospel of John is in the Bible, God’s Word.
Jesus will be your help in every area of life. We need His help because we become part of His army against the evil ones from the spiritual realm. We’re here to receive God’s love and to learn to love Him, as well; Father, Son and Holy Spirit, one God, three Persons living in unity, it’s a total mystery.
I hope you’ll become His child and not wittingly or unwittingly become a slave of the devil, who has done a great job of convincing some people that he doesn’t exist. Easter Sunday is coming this weekend. Jesus rose from the dead and He is alive forevermore! Good Friday commemorates the horrendous torture and the death of Jesus Christ on a wooden cross. Crucifixion was the cruelest form of execution that the Romans inflicted on the Jewish Messiah. Gentiles and Jews worked together to kill Jesus according to the plan of Father God to defeat the power of sin. (Jesus was in full agreement, my husband, a pastor points out).
When people choose Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they become born again as Jesus urged Nicodemus to do in the Gospel of John, chapter 3. Will you accept the free gift of Jesus Christ’s blood-bought sacrifice so you can have a wonderful eternity? Or will you live for this life alone and suffer for eternity after death, far from perfect love?
I hope you will choose wisely while you can. At some future date, this earth and heaven will pass away, so God can complete His plan of making a new heaven and a new earth. In the book of Revelation, Jesus invites us all to come to Him.
May God bless you and protect you from the fiery darts of the enemy.
