Hi! I’m looking at my life, while sewing. Felt like God answered my query, “What should I be doing?” by using the word “Write” to enter my consciousness.
So here I am, instead of re-threading my needle for the umpteenth time. I heard that the Pope is dying today. Then I got online and saw that he resigned from being Pope around noon. I spoke to a friend and she said it is being written on Facebook that Americans will have to receive an implanted chip in order to use their medical insurance starting in March under President Obama. I’ve heard in the past that “666” referred to in the book of Revelation in the New Testament will be camouflaged in a binary code using all zero’s and one’s. All newborns will receive this chip for their medical records to be implanted and a homing device, according to my friend.
Are we in end times, or what?
How do we reach our unsaved loved ones? God gives free will and I respect their right to choose, but I want them to read the Bible and ask God for His input so much that it hurts.

Hi, I am going to give you my opinion on the end times and the chip. First, many believe that 666 has to do with a computer chip that the anti-christ is going to enforce on every single living being. It is believed that anyone who does not choose to take the chip will be killed. Anyone who does not take the chip will not be able to buy or sell anything.
I do not believe that 666 has to do with a computer chip. First when we read the book of Revelation, we just like any other book of the bible must understand who the author is writing to and why. What we do know is that John was the author who was writing to seven churches in Asia. Back in John’s day, Asia was actually what we call Turkey today. There was a reason John was writing to these churches. If you look at the first chapter of Revelation we see that John was exiled to the Island of Patmos because of his spreading the word of God. John was also experiencing much tribulation at that time. The readers of John’s letter were also experiencing tribulation. John states this in Revelation 1:9 that “I John, your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom of patience of Jesus Christ was on the Island of Patmos for the word of God and testimony of Jesus Christ”. So it’s clear from this verse that when John says “I your brother and companion in the tribulation” he is saying that just as his readers were in tribulation, so was John.
Therefore, we can see that there was hardship during the time of John. There was some tought times that were soon to take place. If you look up Church history, the reason there were tough times was because of the Roman Empire which was the superpower of that day. In the Roman Empire was a man who persecuted and killed many Christians. This man was known as Nero Caesar. I believe that one of the beasts in Revelation was the Roman Empire of John’s day. The other beast that is referred to as 666 was Nero Caesar.
John used a puzzle called gematria in which numbers are used to represent certain letters. John used this puzzle to reveal Nero without actually writing down his name. Remember, the early churches were being persecuted during this time—not only from the Jews, but also from the Romans. The numerical values of the Hebrew letters reveal the name Neron Caesar.
John was delivering mail to these churches. In case the mail was to be intercepted by the Romans, John chose not to use the actual name Neron Caesar. Instead John wrote in numerical codes which the readers of that day would have understood as 666 to mean Neron Caesar. If you look at Revelation 13:18 where it talks about 666, it says that “it is the number of a man: His number is 666”. So it’s clear that John was referring to a man in that day.
As far as the chip, the mark that John was referencing could not have been a computer chip. The computer definitely was not invented in John’s day, and the readers of John would not have a clue as to what John was saying if John had a computer chip of some kind in mind. If John had in his mind a computer chip, how would that have comforted or benefited John’s recipients in the first century. The point is, it does not makes sense at all if the mark is a computer chip. The second thing is that the mark is said to be on the right hand or forehead. The computer chip is inserted into the person’s right hand or forehead not on a person’s right hand or forehead.
Lastly, you were wondering if we are living in the end times. The answer is yes. But we have been living in the “last days” since the time of the apostles.
Hi! I did not know the history behind the number 666 that John referenced, referring to Nero, but I do know that God’s ways are not our ways, according to Isaiah 55:9 in the Old Testament. I’ve heard that some of the prophecies in the Bible have already been fulfilled and that they seem to be pointing to a future fulfillment as well. God is amazing. Anyway, if the number 666 is on the skin, then it could be a tattoo. If the number is in the form of a binary code, using all 0’s and 1’s, most people would be unaware of the significance of the digits actual value. I am limited in how I impact people, so the word to me also is WRITE. Currently, because I believe we are in the last (not days) but minutes, we keep doing what we must, but continue to write.
