Working at the library

On Wednesday mornings, I have the opportunity to go to an awesome ladies’ Bible study. The teacher became a certified pastor at age 65, and she digs into the Word. Then she has taught clearly and with an anointing from the Holy Spirit. So why would I work at the library today instead of going to Bible study?

The phone rang just before I left for church, and my boss said two people called in to say they couldn’t make it. I felt the leading of the Lord to work, so I said okay. My boss was delighted. One of my co-workers, an elderly lady, suffering from cancer, born again, seemed to be having a rough morning. We encouraged each other. Perhaps I was there for her, I don’t know. But I do know that God has been giving me such joy at work, people ask me about it. We serve an awesome God!

God bless your day.

Ephesians 1:15-21 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance of the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
